Just watched 3 Idiots, today morning. Watched it online. No, I am not a supporter for pirated movies. But after all the hullabaloo that have been created by Mr Chetan Bhagat, VVC and Aamir Khan, couldn’t wait till the opportunity of getting a ticket to the multiplex.
Anyway, watching the movie, I had been strongly remembering Dil Chahta Hai, one of my all-time fav movie. And I had also been wondering, do all good set of friends are in a set of three? I mean, I have been in quite a few schools, and cities, in my life. And in all those places, even I had always had a close knit group of 3. Not a single more, Not a single less.
Yeah, just wondering.
As for the movie, I am surely gonna influence my own parents to go, watch the movie. Of course, they hardly have any more career choices to make, for me, but maybe it’ll help them dissuade their friends to stop imposing career decisions on their respective kids.
How about you? Did you watch the movie? What’s your reaction, on the movie’s tagline “Strive for excellence – success will follow“, on the controversy served up by the team and the author, and on my question of whether good friends are always in a set of three?

This blog is basically a chronicle of my life, and my emotions, since the time I first left home, in search of the oblivion, in quest of my ultimate goal. This blog has a lot of my memories that still manages to churn out a plethora of emotions within me, every time I wade through the cobwebs of my memory. While I was just a little teenager when I started with it, today I am in the transition phase of being a man of my own stature. And the journey still continues.

hi…First happy new year..
2 idiots is a gr8 movie worth watching …but unfortunately dint get the tickets for it. and all the controversies and marketing has boost the excitement to see it…tagline can be suitable for those who have not acheived succes..while those who have reached at top(due to any reason) may say they strive hard to reach that point. …. no set of three can only be never good frns….we r 4 …. gr8 frns….

Yes, the controversy has surely given the sales a whole new boost. However, after watching the movie, reading the book, and also scanning through the contract document between VVC and Chetan Bhagat, I finally concluded that either Chetan is a huge asshole to stir this mess up, or the whole issue is just a gimmick. There can’t be any other explanation.
Of course, he who has already tasted “success” is out of this discussion. But then again, I kinda believe in the tag line. Probably because that is the motto that steered my own life too.
So, you are a set of 4? That’s really good. How long have you folks been friends, btw?
