Yes, I do remember my promise, and here comes the blog post outlining my last weekend and how I spent it.
Raj came to Bangalore on the Friday night, and another friend of ours, Golu, was supposed to join us by the next day, morning. Friday, we had an amazing time, with me cooking chicken, rice and a couple of poached eggs, accompanied by the legendary old Monk. Here are a couple of pics of that night.
Since yesterday, the office lift has gone non-functional. Why? I have no clue. Why hasn’t it yet been not repaired? I have no clue either! But yeah, the situation does manage to humor a lot of my friends because they think going up and down the stairs of 4 floors is the only form of exercise I might have gotten, all my life. How they forget that sex itself makes you burn almost 350 calories, which is quite a bit, I tell you!
It’s been 5 months and 3 days since I moved in to Bangalore. The reason why I decided to land up here was ‘coz I have always been travelling, all my life. Moving from one city to another, moving into one house, from the other, had become a part and parcel of my life. Plus, I love the new smell, the change in culture, the change in the taste of the spices, and of course, new faces and more shapely asses to ogle at.
Bangalore’s early morning sun seems to be overshadowed by the clouds that have formed, since last night. Yes, the rains have started. And with the rains, I am hoping that shadows of my life get washed away too. I know I am hoping for too much. But I also know that it is hope himself that has been keeping me alive, all this while. It is hope that has been giving me the strength to go on, to take on the other responsibilities in my life.
So, where am I right now? Well, humbly perched within a JetLite flight, on my way to Delhi. While my flight was delayed by about half an hour, it didn’t prove much inconvenience any more than that. Anyway, I have hardly slept last night, so decided to catch two winks in the flight itself. As the Almighty would have it, the air conditioning was turned up a bit too hight and I ended u watching the Bruce Willis movie, Die Hard.
Just a few words on my latest work place in Bangalore. Good life? Yes, it is. Just keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn’t end up short-lived.

This blog is basically a chronicle of my life, and my emotions, since the time I first left home, in search of the oblivion, in quest of my ultimate goal. This blog has a lot of my memories that still manages to churn out a plethora of emotions within me, every time I wade through the cobwebs of my memory. While I was just a little teenager when I started with it, today I am in the transition phase of being a man of my own stature. And the journey still continues.
