I guess, this is the 5th blog I have created, till date. Well, nope! I have surely built a lot more of them but this is the fifth time I created a blog for my own self. Why? Well, the learning curve seems to have been a bit steep, in my case. Why I had started off with really ancient blog services like Rediff and Yahoo 360, I gradually moved on to Blogger, WordPress and finally, a self-hosted WordPress blog.
I do not know if you shall ever realize the fun and excitement I feel every time I built a blog, right from scratch, but it surely didn’t let me sleep last night. While I bought off the domain and the server space off BlueHost, I spent the rest of the night configuring it and helping it stand tall, before the sunrise. You might wonder that if I created this blog today, how the hell do I have so many blog posts already? That’s because I imported all my previous blog posts and comments off Blogger and RisqueDelhisque, the ones I used to write on, before.
Just a few days back, I resigned from LINUX For You Magazine and now looking forward to my next stint in Bangalore, as a Social Media Strategist!

This blog is basically a chronicle of my life, and my emotions, since the time I first left home, in search of the oblivion, in quest of my ultimate goal. This blog has a lot of my memories that still manages to churn out a plethora of emotions within me, every time I wade through the cobwebs of my memory. While I was just a little teenager when I started with it, today I am in the transition phase of being a man of my own stature. And the journey still continues.

When i was working on my blog, i hacked and customized joomla, and hosted in a premium hosting service donated by a friend who was doing the hosting business. But after that saw that joomla was not for my needs. I downloaded wordpress.org and it was *exactly* what i need. Selfhosting was still a problem, so i stuck with wordpress.com and i am happy with it, and still running.
Each time i make the internal code changes, and make a personalized theme it feels excellent, and even i have learnt CSS, php, and mysql while hacking joomla and wordpress.
